Dr. Adel Amr, Consultant Cosmetic Surgery, Hand Surgery and Microsurgery, gained his medical education at Ain Shams University from which he graduated with his M.D in 2009 and went on to become Assistant Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His Master thesis in Evaluation of Sensory Recovery After Unilateral Digital Nerve Injury and Doctoral Dissertation the Effect of Number of Double End to Side Nerve Grafts on the Number of Regenerating Nerve Fibers both focused on analyzing microsurgery nerve procedures.

As a result of an extensive range of training and experience in cosmetic surgery and hand surgery and replantation of digits and hands, micro-neural cases, and congenital hand cases, Dr. Adel focuses his efforts in the micro-neural surgery on furthering research articles and presentations. Since 2009, his private practice has taken on some of the most challenging cases in the region with a proven track record of successful results.

As Dr. Adel Amr firmly believes in personalized patient care and efficacy, he founded the Specialized Hand and Microsurgery clinic at El Demerdash Hospital in 2009 and at Ain Shams Specialized Hospital in 2013. As a strong personal value is always putting the patient first, he’s no stranger to working with charities and the underprivileged needing reconstructive cosmetic surgery or hand surgery.
